Infused violet leaf oil is wonderful on its own or used in formulas for blended oils, balms, lotions, soaps and more.
I use it on its own, sure, but I love it in a lip balm for preventing and treating chapped lips. I keep a Soft Salve of violet leaf near the kitchen sink to treat my hands after dishwashing. It makes a great foot massage for managing callouses... and some folks like it for the rough patches on their elbows and knees. And violet leaf as a topical massage for the breasts is honored among herbalists of the Wise Woman Tradition for use in promoting breast wellness.
I even use it to condition my face and neck, and even though it absorbs surprisingly well for an oil, when used in massage its glide has a very nice lasting quality!
This infused oil is made by first harvesting fresh Viola odorata leaves from my own little organic acre, and infusing them in olive oil with gentle heat in my solar heater. Once infused into a deep green oil, it's strained and filtered, with nothing else added except LoVe.
This oil is part of my NonScents line, which features options that are unscented and free of any added fragrance, essential oils or otherwise. To me, this expresses a conscious honor to the plant world, the realm of my Rooted Ancestors. If you're wondering what I mean by that, just ask.
My infused Oil of Violet Leaf come to you in a 2 ounce glass dropper bottle, and is also available here in a 1 ounce bottle. If you're interested in larger quantities, please message me for availability and cost.
